Vintage Japanese Bird Mini Cup & Saucer JB Betson's Handpainted

A sweet, handpainted vintage cup and saucer "put a bird" on it before it was cool. The cup has a beautiful swirl pattern to it. No chips but there is a crack along the back of the teacup near the handle (see photographs). Some of the blue trim has worn slightly. JB Betson's China from Japan was popular in the USA during Japan's occupation. The saucer is 4" and the cup is 1-3/4" tall 1-3/4" across the top. Pre-owned.
